Fellow - UCSC Institute for Scientist and Engineer Educators (ISEE)

As a member of ISEE, I was both a returning participant as well as a full-time staff member. Here I worked with fellow staff members to develop and teach science and engineering education techniques/strategies for use in a lab and classroom setting. As an ISEE fellow, I also participated in weekly group meetings and journal clubs based on education and assessment.

Graduate Student Researcher - UCSC Institute for Scientist and Engineer Educators

Organized the "Teaching Science & Engineering Research Skills: Practices & Perspectives" symposium, an event open to the UCSC community that highlighted the inquiry based teaching methods taught to and developed by ISEE members. Also developed and taught a “Designing to Improve Learners’ Process Skills” session at the Advancing Inquiry & the PDP Community workshop. This session was aimed at returning participants in the community.
