Tatiana Laremore

Director, Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Core Facility - Pennsylvania State University

Tatiana N. Laremore graduated from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY in 2003 (BA Chemistry, summa cum laude) and joined Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY as a Chemistry graduate student. After completing her doctoral thesis "MALDI-MS Applications in Glycomics of Glycosaminoglycans" in the laboratory of Professor Robert Linhardt, Tatiana continued her training as a postdoc in the same group. During 2007-2010, Tatiana worked on sequence elucidation of a glycosaminoglycan component of a proteoglycan bikunin using a combination of high-resolution preparative separation method she had developed, enzymology, and ESI FTMS analysis of the intact bikunin polysaccharide as well as products of its enzymatic depolymerization. Currently, Tatiana is the director of the Huck Institutes Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Core Facility located in University Park, PA.
