Energy-Filtered Transmission Electron Microscopy (EFTEM)
Rather than all electrons being used to form an image of the sample, only electrons of particular energies are collected. This can be used to enhance image contrast. Also, because the energy of the electron directly indicates the elemental makeup of the sample it has passed through, collecting multiple images at many electron energies can yield the elemental make-up of the sample (electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS)).
Science Exchange is the fastest and safest way to order scientific services. All providers have passed a qualification process and agreed to pre-negotiated legal terms that protect your confidentiality and IP.
