We have more than 15 years experience in proteome informatics, molecular biology and microbiology. We believe that proteomics has promises to keep, and that good data analysis can lead the way. We want to help our clients by developing the best quality data services available. We specialize so you don't have to.
Prior to forming SGI, Dr. Rudnick was proteomics team lead in the Mass Spectrometry Data Center at NIST where he was responsible for the development of the NIST peptide mass spectral libraries. During his seven years at NIST, Dr. Rudnick was involved with the NIH/NCI cancer proteomics program where, together with Dr. Stephen Stein, they devleloped the NIST metrics for monitoring reproducibility in shotgun proteomics. He continues to work with NCI's Clinical Proteomics Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) through the development of a common data analysis pipeline in coordination with NIST. Paul is also a member of the ASMS, HUPO and ABRF. As a member of the ABRF, he has served on both the iPRG (proteome informatics) and sPRG (proteomics standards) research groups. He served as chair of the 2010 iPRG study focused on phosphosite localization and is currently serving as a member of the ABRF Education Committee. His full CV can be found here, and his publications can be found on PubMed.
Prior to joining SGI, Dr. Stefani T. Rudnick worked as a Scientist Administrator for 7 years at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIH. In her most recent position as Scientific Initiatives Manager for the Office of Initiative Development, OSMO, OD, she worked closely with staff from all involved Divisions for the development and release of grant and contract funding initiatives for the Institute. Prior to holding that position, she worked in the Scientific Review Program, DEA as a Scientific Review Officer, and as a Extramural Science Policy and Operations detailee in the Office of the Director, DEA.
