SOLVE is a contract analytical lab, located in Sweden and the US, operating highly specialized instrumentation to help you gain knowledge about your materials. We are a qualified team of PhD level scientists, providing the best analytical capabilities in our quality controlled lab.

Our expertise lies in the characterization of materials at the nano- and microscale. We address a wide range of materials challenges and have, for example, helped to improve the yield of recombinant proteins; assess peptide and protein aggregation in therapeutics; develop product platforms based on naturally sourced polymers; improve production and processing by characterization of nanoparticles. We contribute to projects from idea to implementation.

One of our core technologies – field-flow fractionation, AF4, FFF – is a recommended method for small nanoparticles up to large polymers as well as fragile protein aggregates, and can be applied standalone or orthogonal to our other techniques. The method is listed as a preferred method for investigating/validating protein aggregation by the US food and drug administration (FDA) emphasizing the push for more comprehensive characterization strategies.
