SOLVE is a contract analytical lab, helping customers all around the world with AF4-MALS, SEC-MALS, AUC and DLS analysis and method development.
Our expertise lies in the characterization of materials at the nano- and microscale. One of our core technologies – field-flow fractionation, AF4, FFF – is listed as a preferred method for investigating/validating protein aggregation by the US food and drug administration (FDA), emphasizing the push for more comprehensive characterization strategies.

We offer label-free comprehensive characterization of biologics including peptides, antibodies, viruses etc and aggregates thereof in complex matrices such as serum/plasma/blood, CSF etc. at the nano- and microscale using Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF, AF4) connected to Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS), Refractive Index Detection (RI), UV Detection or Fluorescence Detection combined with label-free detection methods.
We are flexible, and perform everything from smaller feasibility studies for 1-2 samples to larger method developments with a focus towards future routine sample analysis. We have experience working with the following materials:
We offer comprehensive characterization of materials at the nano- and microscale using Size-Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) connected to Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS), Refractive Index Detection (RI) and/or UV Detection.

The analytical centrifugation instrument with UV absorbance optics allows size analysis of components at close to undisturbed conditions, i.e. with minimal influence from dilution or shear.
We can offer enhanced separation and characterization of complex charged molecules, using the newly developed electrical FFF (EAF4), invaluable for exosomes, drug delivery vehicles, colloidal stability of proteins etc.
The system combines electrical and flow fractionation in a single separation. This is the most versatile separation technology available, with the benefits that analytes with the same size but different charge can be separated and characterized as well as that true size and zeta potential distributions can be determined.
