Single-cell ATAC

Single-cell ATAC Sequencing is a technique used to determine genome-wide chromatin accessibility at the single-cell level. With single-cell ATAC-Seq, chromatin profiling of large numbers of nuclei can be performed in parallel, resulting in fast, accurate epigenomic profiling. Using the industry-leading Chromium Single-Cell ATAC Solution from 10x Genomics, SingulOmics’ PhD-level scientists and bioinformaticians can analyze thousands of nuclei per run at single-cell resolution. In combination with Single-Cell RNA-Seq, our end-to-end services and integrated analysis enable researchers to link input regulatory signals with their output gene expression at the single-cell level.

Low Input/Single Cell RNA Sequencing

To enable the discovery of transcriptomes and gene expressions of single cells at a deeper level, SingulOmics offers low input/deep single cell RNA-Seq service. The technology can be applied to samples with a limited number of cells (1-1000 cells) or with an ultra-low amount of input RNA (10 pg-10 ng of total RNA). Samples can be submitted as (1) single cells (nuclei), (2) frozen cells in cell suspensions, or (3) total RNA. Our end-to-end service solution includes cell lysis (or RNA QC), cDNA synthesis, cDNA amplification, library construction, sequencing, and data analysis.

Targeted Sequencing

We provide a targeted next-gen sequencing solution to enable researchers to zoom in on specific genomic regions of interest and investigate the presence of specific SNPs, indels, and gene fusions faster and more cost-effectively than whole-genome and whole-exome sequencing. Our service includes the design, optimization, validation, and data analysis of custom panels, incorporating a highly multiplexed PCR-based workflow. Our solution offers high coverage and redundancy, as well as high sensitivity and specificity for a few to hundreds of gene targets. We have optimized our protocol for biologic samples such as blood, saliva, and frozen tissues to generate high-confidence data for various application areas, including cancer and genetic diseases.

Single Cell Gene Expression Analysis

Besides providing an end-to-end 10x single-cell RNA-Seq service from frozen cells/tissues, we provide analysis-only service for customers who have done 10x library preparation and sequencing. 


Our analysis includes:

- Quality control

- Sequence alignment

- Quantifying expression levels of each cell

- Clustering of single cells to identify subpopulations (t-SNE and UMAP)

- Generation of cloupe files that can be viewed interactively in the Loupe Browser for differential analysis and violin plots, etc.

- Aggregate analysis by pooling samples together for differential gene expression analysis for the given sub-population (advanced analysis)

Single Cell Isolation

High-Throughput 10x Genomics Chromium Single Cell RNA-Seq 

Single cell RNA-Seq enables the study of cell-to-cell transcriptome heterogeneity, opening a new field in biology. SingulOmics is highly experienced in single cell RNA sequencing and data analysis. We perform high-throughput single cell transcriptome profiling on the 10x Genomics Chromium Platform. SingulOmics has optimized our experimental workflow to include Dead Cell Removal. The addition of this important step increases cell viability, thus improving cell recovery and ensuring high sequencing accuracy. 


Depending on the project type, single nuclei may be a better fit as sample input. This is common when studying tissue samples from which it is difficult to extract intact cells, such as brain tissue or flash frozen tissue. Singulomics has highly-skilled scientists who have experience conducting nuclei isolation from flash frozen tissues and can generate single-nuclei suspensions as input for 10x single-cell gene expression profiling.
