Want quick and easy microscopy images? MyMicroscopy offers you the painless solution you need!
Our story starts out with a frustrated PhD student who found it impossible to get sample analysis and secondary electron images and not knowing where to turn or how to start. And that's how MyMicroscopy was formed.
Initially meant to help fellow students get easy images with no delay for their research MyMicroscopy now helps both individuals and corporations with SEM imaging, microscopy and full sample analysis.
We offer easy to understand core services at simple prices. Our customers can choose from a list of full services with our specialised personnel sectioning, embedding, imaging and analysing many samples.
Today MyMicroscopy aims to make sample imaging and analysis as easy and accessible as possible. We want to share in the excitement of research, however creative your project may be.
Our most popular service!
We're sure many of you have seen SEM images lighting up many presentations and posters. Our service allows you to send us a sample (prepared or unprepared) and we deliver the images directly to you. No hassle, no fuss.
Our SEM service includes critical point drying and sputter coating.
Our experts can cut, section, embed, mount and polish your samples to your needs.
Obviously each sample is different and our experts are happy to talk to you about your needs and advise about the best way to prepare them. Just send us a quick message.
As great as images are - they don't give you much quantitative data - that's where profilometry comes in.
Using a contact or non-contact methods (depending on your substrate and imaging needs) we can give data (to half a micron) regarding surface undulations of your sample.
Please note we require surfaces to be mount on a flat and stable surface prior to scanning. If this is something you'd like us to take care of then please take a look at our sample preparation section.
Optical microscopy is often the starting point for successful materials related problem-solving, and helps us fully understand microstructure and product property relationships.
MyMicroscopy labs are staffed with microscopy scientists with years of experience in research and production problem-solving for problems, materials and clients.
Digital images of client samples are quickly forwarded from the surface science laboratory to the client.
We often find optical images are a great pre-cursor to additional closer imaging to give an overview of sample features.
Also known as EDX or EDAX, XEDS, EDS is a form of elemental analysis.
An output will give you elemental lines of SEM scans or sections of scans.
