ITR Canada provides preclinical testing services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Since our founding in 1989 we have grown into a mid-sized Contract Research Organization (CRO).

The tests we conduct are vital to bringing new medicines into the world. We are committed to alleviating the suffering of patients by advancing medical progress. Our goal as a company is to help in the development of treatments for a wide array of diseases and ailments including cancer, malaria, AIDS, tuberculosis and Alzheimer’s disease. ITR Laboratories Canada does not test cosmetics or house hold products as they are not part of our mission to develop new medicines.

Safety pharmacology studies conducted at ITR Laboratories Canada are designed to investigate the potentially undesirable effects of test items on vital organ systems such as the cardiovascular, respiratory and central nervous systems. All safety pharmacology studies are conducted using fully validated and Part 11 compliant systems.
