Intact Genomics offers high-quality next generation sequencing services on the Illumina MiSeq platform to support a broad range of genomic applications. Our system is capable of producing either single or paired-end reads, up to 15 Gb of output with 25M sequencing reads and 2x 300 bp read lengths. Because of the very large insert sizes, constructing BAC libraries are far more challenging than making typical, small-insert plasmid libraries. Even if successful, conventional BAC libraries are inherently biased and incomplete. Intact Genomics has developed novel random shear technologies that overcome many of these problems, producing more even, complete, and higher quality genomic libraries.
Using our unique random shear BAC colony technology, researchers can get even more accurate, better results.

Using proprietary methods, we prepare ultra pure, high concentration DNA from individual BAC clones, 96-well or 384-well plates for gene discovery, gene functional study and DNA sequencing.
BAC clones from individual 384-well BAC library plates are inoculated into four 96-deep well plates, cultured, and processed using proprietary methods. The purified DNA is provided in four 96-well Miniprep DNA plates.
