The Institut Curie (IC) is a private nonprofit organization created in 1909 which combines a leading European cancer research center with a hospital group. The research center, directed since 2013 by Geneviève Almouzni, PhD, brings together physicists, medicinal chemists, biologists, bioinformaticians and clinicians thereby favoring a multi-disciplinary research. It is located on 2 main sites in central Paris and Orsay, with Mounira Amor-Guéret, PhD, as Orsay Deputy Director.

The Reverse Phase Protein Array platform of Institut Curie (Paris, France) provides tailored protein analysis of your samples in order to study cell signaling pathway expression and activation. We have validated more than 600 primary antibodies for RPPA, covering most cell signaling pathways, from which you can choose the antibodies of interest for your project. In addition, we can perform protein lysis, new antibody validation, and statistical analysis of the data for you. We are co-founders of the Global RPPA Society and one of the leading RPPA platforms world-wide. Yet we remain small-scaled on can thus offer personalized services.

Reverse Phase protein Arrays represent an innovative technology that allows studying protein expression levels and the activation status of cell signalling pathways. It combines high throughput analysis with minimal sample consumption. Using a dedicated arrayer, only 1 ng of proteins extracted from tissues or cell lines are printed onto nitrocellulose covered microscope slides (arrays). Proteins of interest are then quantified using highly specific primary antibodies. Up to one thousand samples can be analysed simultaneously on the same array. We systematically print serial dilutions and replicates for all samples, making the technology highly robust and quantitative.
