We provide custom immunoassay development for quantitative measurement of your protein of interest. Leveraging our protein and hybridoma antibody generation capability, we can start by producing recombinant target antigen for direct ELISA with immobilized antigen. The assay is useful for characterizing antigen-antibody binding or quantifying antigen-reactive antibody titers in complex samples (e.g., pharmacokinetic assay for a therapeutic antibody). We can also deliver antibody pair(s) (e.g., capture antibody & biotinylated detection antibody) that offer high signal to noise detection of multiple epitopes of the target antigen, thus amenable to so-called “sandwich” ELISA. We provide custom protein array services for screening protein-protein interaction or profiling the specificity of your antibody or biological sample. Leveraging our high-through cloning & expression technologies in combination with our pre-made gene clones and recombinant proteins, we can rapidly profile your biological sample for its reactivity against any custom array of human or murine gene products. Our services include custom array preparation, sample analysis, comprehensive data analysis and reporting. We can prepare the custom protein array based on your specifications using purified recombinant proteins, crude cell extracts, or cell lines that express individual proteins to be screened against. We can deliver the custom array to you or conduct the screening service for you. We will work closely with you to design and develop the solutions most suitable for you. We offer custom antibody humanization services using in-house algorithm for rational design in combination with our cutting-edge high-throughput gene cloning & expression technologies. We can create a humanized antibody that is essentially identical to a human variant with only the non-human origin of its complementarity determining region (CDR) segments responsible for binding to its target antigen. We have 100% success rate in design & humanization of over a dozen of of non-human antibodies from clients and in-house products.
Our humanization process includes the creation of a mouse-human chimera (mouse V genes fused to human constant regions) in an initial step to confirm its desired binding properties. Thereafter the chimera is further humanized by grafting CDRs into a human antibody “scaffold” and by selective alteration of specific amino acids in the frameworks if necessary. Typically 2-4 humanized VH and VL variants will be designed and constructed for expression in mammalian cells. All antibody variants will be purified and assessed for their binding affinity to the target antigen. At least 1 humanized antibody variant showing an affinity of within 3-fold of that of chimeric antibody will be delivered. Upon request, we can perform affinity maturation of the humanized antibody to create variant(s) with greater affinity.
We offer custom recombinant antibody (primarily IgG and derivative) production in mammalian cells (HEK293 or CHO). Simply provide us with your VH and VL genes’ nucleotide or amino acid sequences and indicate the species, isotype, subclass and format (full-length or fragment) to be delivered. We will design, synthesize and assembly your VH and VL genes with proper constant regions or antibody fragments before subcloning them into our unique mammalian expression vectors. The constructs are usually codon optimized and contain signal leaders allowing maximum expression and secretion in mammalian cells. Alternatively you can provide us with the VH and VL genes that have already been cloned into a mammalian expression vector of your choice.
We can design and produce your recombinant antibody or fragment originated from many different species(e.g., human, mouse and rabbit), isotypes (e.g., IgG, IgM, IgA & IgE), and subclasses as wells as many fragment-based derivatives, such as Fab, F(ab)’2, minibody,scFv and bispecific (scFv)2. In addition to these options, we can engineer you antibodies with mutant constant regions, e.g., those with modified effector function or with mutant residue(s) for site-specific conjugation. We can modify them to include additional tag or fusion, e.g., immunostimulatory cytokines and protein markers such as GFP, luciferase, HRP for easy detection and quantification.
We will determine both heavy and light chain variable regions (VH and VL genes) from the hybridoma clones you provide. The mRNA samples will be prepared from your hybridoma cell pellets. The VH and VL genes, including the leader sequences, will be isolated from the mRNA samples using our PCR-based 5’-RACE with a panel of specific primers. The PCR products will be subcloned into a cloning vector and typically at least 10 independent colonies will be sequenced for each of VH and VL genes. Upon request, we can also clone the full-length heavy and light chain genes for your determination of the isotype/subclass and generation of constructs to express recombinant mouse or chimeric IgGs to confirm their antigen-binding properties. Using our standardized cloning and sequencing protocol, we are able to deliver the VH and VL sequence results to you with almost 100% success rate and fast turnaround time.
We provide custom mouse hybridoma development for producing monoclonal antibodies against your antigen of interest. We guarantee at least two independent hybridoma clones with positive ELISA or Western blot results for any protein antigen (at least 2 mg with >80% purity provided by the client or custom-made by G&P Biosciences – please see our “custom protein production service” for more information). Our hybridoma team will work closely with you on every aspect of the process, including antigen preparation, immunization strategies, and primary & secondary screening assays, which are essential for a successful hybridoma campaign.
We provide custom recombinant protein production using suspension mammalian cells (HEK293 or CHO) growing in chemical-defined media, allowing large-scale protein production up to gram level. We can conduct custom protein expression through both transient and stable transfection. Typically custom-made recombinant proteins are expressed and purified via a His-tag or as a fusion protein, e.g., human IgG1-derived Fc- or GST-fusion that often increases protein expression level, solubility and/or yield. Additional epitope tags (e.g., HA, Myc), fluorescent proteins (GFP, RFP), enzymes (HRP, luciferase) and other affinity tags (e.g., StreptAvidin, Protein A or G) can also be used for monitoring expression and further purifying your protein of interest (see the list of tags & fusions below).

Our custom-produced recombinant proteins normally exceed 90% purity as detected by SDS-PAGE analysis. The purified proteins can be formulated into any standard buffer (e.g., sterile PBS pH7.4) or a customer-specified buffer. Our recombinant protein production services are priced according to the required amount and purity of products as well as optimization work needed, e.g., the number of different culture conditions or transfection methods tested. A small pilot production (50-100 ml of culture) is usually conducted to assess the feasibility to express and purify your protein of interest.

We provide services for custom lentivirus production (packaging). Pre-packaged, ready-to-use viral particles are most reliable gene delivery tools for wide range of cell types. They are easy to use, simply add to cultured cells, and you will be able to confirm the target gene's expression within 48-72 hours. To request the service, just provide us your lentiviral expression construct or select one from our pre-made lentiviral gene clone collection, we deliver to you the ready-to-use virus at high titer. Custom-made titer ranges from 10e7 IFU (Infection Function Unit)/ml using our optimal LentiPAK packaging kit. Our viral particles are provided in a serum-free medium, compatible with both in vitro and in vivo delivery.
From standard libraries to uncut, full-length, expression-ready libraries, we offer multiple options tailored for your research needs, beginning with a minimum of 100 µg of total RNA or 10 µg of poly(A+) RNA. We also provide custom construction of synthetic libraries containing random mutations at specific regions of gene of interest.

We offer de novo synthesis of any gene that is not on our list of pre-made, expression-ready clones. We can generate virtually any client-desired DNA sequences, cloned and 100% sequence-verified, ready for downstream applications. We can assembly them in a standard cloning vector or the vector provided by the client at no additional charge.
We offer a variety of optimized lentivectors for your applications. We can subclone your gene of interest into any lentivector with custom choices of promoters, fusions, tags, and selectable markers under different regulatory elements (see the feature list below). When co-transfected with our lentiviral packaging DNA mix, these lentivectors create high-titer, replication-incompetent viral particles, allowing efficient packaging, transduction, and stable integration of your gene of interest into the target cell’s genome. These lentivectors alone can also be used for transiently constitutive expression of your gene of interest.
