Feynman Nano is a University of Central Florida spin out company located in Orlando, Florida. Our technology is a proprietary polymer nanoimprinting technique. The process allows polymers and polymer films to be embedded with nanostructures as small as 20nm and up to 100um. Areas over 300mm can be structured while maintaining a low price.

For Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) and Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) arrays we use a 2 step manufacturing process.
Step 1: Fabricate nanostructures on low-cost PMMA.
Step 2: Vapor deposite active layer metal onto nanostructured area.

Custom Polymer Micro/Nanofabrication

Polymer Nanofabrication including surface features such as pillars, grooves, pyramids as well as channels for applications such as microfluidics. Feature sizes range from 20 nanometers to 100 microns. Feature areas range from a few mm to over 300mm.

Order turnaround time varies per order, depending on setup time. After setup, it typically takes less than one day to fabricate and ship multiple nano textured substrates.
- Please allocate 2 - 4 weeks for project setup, and 1 day per 25 substrates.

Pricing depends on number of substrates ordered, size of substrates, and setup. Geometric complexity typically does not impact price, but in some cases it can.
- Typical setup fees price between $1k-$10k, but vary widely per project.
- Typical polymer substrate prices can vary from $25/sqft - $100+/sqft.
- Additional services (ex. gold vapor deposition) will increase substrate prices, and will be addressed at time of request.

Characterization is done using AFM / SEM depending on specific needs and equipment availability. Additional pre-shipment characterization may be requested.
