Full Service Fragment Analysis : Customer submits pre-diluted PCR samples to be run with our in house size standard LIZ-500. This standard can be used with any fragment that is 500bp or smaller has been amplified using a fluorescently labeled primer within the DS-33 (G5) dye set: 6-FAM (blue), VIC (green), NED (yellow), PET (red).
Frag-Ready-to-Load : Customer is responsible for mixing appropriate amounts of PCR template, size standard, and Hi-Di Formamide prior to submission. Once received, these samples will be loaded directly onto the 3730xl and sequenced

In our Primer walk service, we conduct initial primer extension reactions from universal or customer specified primers for plasmid or PCR products greater than 1 kb in length. Unique primers corresponding to the terminal sequence obtained from the initial reaction will be synthesized by Eton and additional reactions will be performed as necessary to completely sequence the region of interest. Single stranded walks or double stranded walks are available.
Publication Quality Sequencing Service is also available for plasmid and PCR Products. We will perform primer walk sequencing reactions as described above by using both DNA strands simultaneously when known initial primer sites exist on both terminal ends of the region of interest. Both strands of the region of interest are sequenced independently. The accuracy of Publication Quality Sequencing data is guaranteed by virtue of complete complementary sequences between the two strands.

Any mutations, including single- or multiple-site deletions, insertions, or substitutions, are introduced into a customer's gene of interest. If no sequencing data is provided by customers, the samples provided for mutagenesis will go through an initial QC by DNA sequencing. Upon completion of the project, the introduced mutations are confirmed by sequencing, and sequences from "before and after" are compared to ensure that only target mutations have been introduced. Customers are provided with plasmid DNA containing the modified gene, as well as all collected sequence data pertaining to their gene.

Our plasmid DNA prep service can prep DNA from plasmid DNA or colonies cultivated on a LB plate. We will perform the transformation step if necessary. Upon completion, we will provide the final product(s) along with a service summary that includes final DNA concentration, volume of the DNA, and gel pictures of the DNA. This service is available for US customers only.
