eNUVIO can help you with your project from scratch, according to your needs. Most projects start with a question to answer, a problem to solve. We can make the design or help you create one in a collaborative manner. Our approach is very flexible to adapt to each situation. If you require samples to test the design, we can build them in our industrial cleanroom using microfabrication processes and our proprietary fabrication methods. Moreover, we can perform tests in-house if required. Once you are satisfied with the design, samples and tests, we can move to the production of the required devices.
eNUVIO has ready-to-go lab-on-a-chip devices designed mainly for neuro and neuromuscular degeneration studies, e.g. neuronal co-culture microfluidic devices, 3D culture and embryoid bodies generation devices, axon guidance and chemotaxis microfluidic devices, neuromuscular junction microfluidic device. We also make custom lab-on-a-chip devices. Although our expertise lies mainly within the field of life sciences in terms of applications, our team has various scientific backgrounds and we are happy to help other scientists in any field to get their project moving forward.
In addition to producing polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) devices using standard soft lithography methods, eNUVIO can make complex structures comprised of thin layers (<20um) using our patented technology developed in-house. Tooling and molds are done in our industrial cleanroom using photolithography. Our team has experience in producing PDMS devices with features in the 1um range. We also developed a new manufacturing method to make PDMS devices with high aspect ratio, e.g. 0.5mm features extending 12mm high. eNUVIO can also perform surface modifications (e.g. hydrophilicity) of the devices using chemical treatments, vapor deposition, UV exposure and plasma technology.
