In combination with our high-throughput experimentation assets, we use advanced materials and process modelling techniques to accelerate your product and process development. By combining our expertise in both data-driven and mechanistic modelling approaches, we can help elucidate hidden relationships between process inputs. The digital assets we develop from experimental data help us to explore design spaces much faster, substantially shortening time-to-market and delivering product and process designs that improve the economics and flexibility of manufacturing processes and enhance product quality. Such digital assets also facilitate technology transfer and ensure the insight gained in product and process development can be leveraged to optimally operate manufacturing assets.
Our photonics expertise spans multiple markets and technology areas, allowing us to complement your current capabilities and helping you overcome your specific photonics challenges. We work closely with companies, helping you to develop your technology and supporting you through the entire development cycle. This means providing you with access to a community of technical and commercial innovation specialists, as well as our specialist biolabs and instrument development facilities. We are able to support the design, manufacture, scale-up, validation and commercialisation of your photonics products.
At CPI, we offer high-throughput capabilities to accelerate the development of our customers’ formulations. Our screening technologies can rapidly generate robust data sets that are used in conjunction with data management tools such as Electronic Lab Notebook, structured data capture databases, and visualisation software. The knowledge that these data sets deliver allows our customers to investigate a broad range of formulation possibilities and gain understanding of how the materials they use will perform in practice. The speed of this process reduces waste in development and ultimately brings products and processes to market sooner.
With our support and experience in both advanced packaging materials and smart packaging, we ensure you are given the right tools to lower distribution costs, increase turnover, and improve sustainability.
Gas fermentation utilises low-cost gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane and hydrogen as feedstocks. It requires specific capabilities, in comparison to conventional fermentation, as these gases need specialised equipment and handling due to their toxicity and/or flammability. Having invested extensively in C1 gas fermentation capability at laboratory and pilot scale, we are uniquely skilled in the design, development and validation of fermentation processes using gaseous C1feedstocks at all scales of development.
