CCS develops the right cleaning strategy and brings together the right resources and processes to ensure the integrity of your sensitive environments.
CCS provides innovative cleaning solutions for complex industries:
Contaminants in Biotech/Pharmaceutical facilities can negatively affect research results and eliminate years of research data.
Environmental contaminants in data centers are one of the main causes of electronic equipment failure.
Medical Device facilities face the most stringent and comprehensive regulations in environmental management.
Nutraceutical companies face a greater emphasis on product safety and regulation in the manufacturing process.
Labs and R&D facilities face the unique challenges of cross-contamination and resistance in managing contamination.
Semiconductor & Electronic Manufacturing
Microelectronics facilities face the unique challenges of managing particles, residue and electrostatic charges.
Vivariums face the unique contamination challenge of managing mold, bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Controlled Contamination Services (CCS) uses Ionized Particle Fogging (IPF), an innovative technology that provides residue free decontamination and 6-log bio-burden reduction by delivering an activated hydrogen peroxide solution for effective bio-decontamination where reduction of biological load is critical. IPF produces a reactive oxygen species to kill bacteria, mold, spores and viruses on all indoor and outdoor spaces. Traditional fogging methods use carcinogens that can leave corrosive residue or a vaporized hydrogen peroxide that depends on an H202 vapor for decontamination.
This technology consists of 7.5% hydrogen peroxide, 5% isopropyl alcohol and de-ioninzed water to achieve a 6-log kill. The reactive oxygen species (ROS), hydroxyls and free radicals used in the IPF method react with the double bonds, proteins and lipids in microorganisms on contact; stripping them away and lycing the cells.
This effectively destroys the organisms on a physical level, not just a biological level, leaving no chance for future strains to develop immunity to the decontamination process. Once the decontamination process is complete, the hydrogen peroxide denatures and disseminates into oxygen and water within minutes, leaving no residue or by-products.
IPF provides an effective means of decontamination, disinfection, sterilization and infection control of all surfaces within a controlled environment.
IPF can achieve 6-log organism reduction on:
IPF is compatible with a variety of materials and has no damaging effects on your environment, facility or assets.
One of the most important laboratory controls is the environmental monitoring program. Environmental Monitoring programs are designed to estimate the microbial and particulate content of the room air and surfaces. An effective environmental monitoring program alerts you when conditions contributing to excessive microbial levels rise due to ineffective cleaning, sanitation or other personnel/equipment issues. Controlled Contamination Services (CCS) offers flexible, comprehensive, monitoring programs that measure room pressurization, temperature, relative humidity, and non-viable particulates, and assess microbial sources, potential contamination and control problems with your facility. For quality assurance and audit purposes, program results are formatted and detailed in a formal report. Environmental monitoring programs from CCS provide you with the appropriate level of service required to ensure your manufacturing environment complies with all FDA, USP, ISO, Annex 1 and ASTM requirements. CCS provides flexible services to help our customers validate and maintain GMP compliance for their clean room areas. CCS personnel have more than 100 years of clean room and environmental monitoring experience.
