CCORDA provides expertise in the quantitative sciences, including biostatistics, epidemiology, and health services research. Our center allows investigators to gain understanding of systems and processes through data analysis. Biostatistical experts are available to design studies, analyze data and summarize results through report writing. Our team includes twelve statisticians with PhD or MS degrees in statistics or biostatistics which enables us to quickly and effectively meet your needs.
We offer assistance with all phases of a research study including study design, data acquisition and management, analysis and report writing. We will customize our level of services to fit your needs, from a quick one time sample size calculation, to ongoing collaborations.
Design: Participate in protocol and grant development; study design of laboratory based studies and clinical trials; sample size calculations for IRB, IACUC or grant applications; statistical analysis plans; and randomization sequences.
Data acquisition and management: Data management; data monitoring; data query reports; develop, monitor and manage study databases; develop web-based surveys; develop case report forms; develop web-based data entry programs; program scannable case report forms; perform complex data acquisition, merging and processing.
We offer standard microarray data analysis and study design, including Affymetrix arrays, exon, gene and miRNA. We also analyze Illumina arrays among others. Software available for microarray analysis includes: R, Bioconductor, BRB ArrayTools, GeneCluster and Treeview.
We offer data analysis and study design for next generation sequencing data analysis. Including: RNA-seq, mRNA-seq, exome-seq, etc. Software available for Next-Gen Sequencing Analysis: R, Bioconductor.
Analysis and report writing: Statistical analysis and interpretation; participate in manuscript writing; secondary analyses of complex survey data; economic evaluation of health care.
Software used: SAS, R, Bioconductor, NCSS/PASS, SPSS, RedCap, and Microsoft Office.
