The Biophysical Analysis facility and High Throughput Screening Facility consists of multiple instruments available to study macromolecule-ligand interactions, which form a key element of the drug discovery and development operation. Among the biophysics-based instruments available for this purpose include PTI spectrofluorometer, NanoTemper Microscale Thermophoresis, Reichert Surface Plasmon Resonance, Waters UPLC coupled to TQD-ESI-MS, Beckman ultracentrifuge, Olis Circular Dichroism with stopped flow assembly, and dynamic light scattering. We have HT screening instruments like ECHO, Cytation 5, Multidrop combinl, bulk plate washers, flex station, and multiple readers, and chemical libraries (FDA, Diversity).

Nanotemper Monolith NT is available at our facility for biomolecular interaction studies. This technique is based on thermophoresis principle of detecting optically fluorescent molecular binding affinity of different molecules. MST requires low sample volume, label-free options, and detecting changes in hydration shell and charges of biomolecules as well as size changes through the binding events. Assay development, consumables like capillaries and labelling kits and sample analysis is available on service.
