Barrow-Agee Laboratories was incorporated in 1917, in Memphis, Tennessee, by Edward Barrow and Worthen Agee (the 3rd and 5th Presidents of the American Oil Chemists Society, respectively) as a privately held and independent testing laboratory. Barrow-Agee is ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited for microbiology, metals, pesticide residues and drug residues (Please click here to view the laboratory's ISO 17025 accreditation certificate and scope of accreditation) and USDA accredited for Chlorinated Pesticide Residues. We participate in proficiency testing programs sponsored by API, AOCS, USDA, CFIA, and AAFCO.
