Our cognition services use two platforms for cognitive testing in non-human primates. The Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery (CANTAB) and the object retrieval task (OR).

We offer both MRI and PET imaging in rodengt and non-human primates that allows longitudinal measurement of markers of function and metabolism. In addition, novel PET ligands can be developed by our radiochemistry team.
Tools and expertise are readily available to conduct virtual screening, docking to a receptor site, identifying novel core structures/molecules and designing focused libraries.
Docking and in silico screening give insight as to how and which small molecules bind to the target.
Homology modeling helps to predict the 3-D structures for proteins, when the structures have not yet been solved. A homology model can be derived from the primary sequence of a protein, using the 3-D structures of other homologous proteins.
An unparalleled powerful 3-D Reality center provides a venue for discussing complex structure-based projects with group members, collaborators and/or visitors for productive discussions.

We can work with your preferred structural biologists to develop the 3-D structures of your target protein. Alternatively, we can recommend excellent structural biologists with whom we have collaborated with previously.
Internationally recognised academic chemists will work closely with clients to develop synthetic pathways, including hard-to-accomplish reactions.
Characterization of physiochemical properties of compounds such as pKa, dissolution, particle size, crystal properties and polymorphism and product stability, along with metabolic and toxicological parameters, to enable an informed choice of whether lead compounds can be developed in drugs.
Through our extensive connections, Atuka has built up a procurement network through which we are able to obtain most chemicals and reagents - including many hard to source compounds.
