ALL of our research staff hold a Ph.D. in molecular biology or related field. RNA integrity is determined by using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer.

Multigene qPCR panels:
One time $1200 per gene panel* set up charge for up to 90 genes of interest and 5 endogenous control genes. A cost-effective alternative to NGS experiments in cases where a more focused approach is needed or the time-consuming process of bioinformatics is not desirable. For those clients wishing to profile multiple genes at once in the most cost effective manner, we offer SYBR® Green based multi-gene panels, designed to YOUR specifications. Whether a published pathway or a panel of your own choosing, you won’t be restricted to specific gene sets or charged extra for “custom” work. Our staff can isolate total RNA from cells or tissues by methods appropriate to your project. Extracted RNA can be returned to the client (shipping charges apply). RNA extracted from client samples by appropriate methods, either TriZol-type or column-based, depending on sample type, client choice and end use. For example, clients wishing to profile miRNA expression would be advised to use a TriZol type extraction because it preserves the small RNA fraction that contains miRNAs better than column methods. Initial assessment of RNA purity and concentration is performed by NanoDrop spectrophotometer analysis and RNA integrity is determined using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (optional but highly recommended).
Sample shipping requirements: For cells and tissue, please ship overnight on dry ice to the address on our profile to insure the best RNA integrity.
Deliverables: Report on RNA quantity and quality (if optional Bioanalzyer service is requested) will be provided. RNA samples can be returned to client, or shipped to another facility at client's direction. Shipping charges will apply. Please let us know in your request if you will want samples shipped after extraction.
Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE), laser capture microdissection (LCM) and fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) samples will require specialized isolation procedures and may incur additional cost. Please contact us for requirements and quotes on these specialized sample types.
