We offer bright field or fluorescent digital slide scanning using a Caliper Pannoramic SCAN whole slide scanner. High resolution images are provided with accompanying free software that allows image manipulation including zoom, rotation and channel selection.

This service includes the IHC staining of paraffin (FFPE) or frozen tissue sections. Tissue preparation including wax processing, embedding and sectioning (microtomy), or frozen section preparation (cryotomy) are also available on request. In addition we offer digital slide scanning and biomarker quantification resulting in quantitative IHC data. Assay development and optimization using colorimetric, fluorescent and multiplex approaches are available. Optimization of your choice of antibody and detection system is also available on request.
Our state-of-the-art Leica Bond immunostainer produces consistent quality high throughput immunohistochemistry (IHC). We have developed and validated a wide range of automated IHC protocols for rodent and human tissue. Examples include Ki67, PCNA, caspase-3, E-cadherin, CD3, CD8, and many more. New antibodies can also be optimized on request.
We offer high quality multiplex in situ hybridization to localize mRNA in your tissue samples. Custom probes can be provided on request, please contact us to discuss your needs. Tissue preparation including wax processing, embedding and RNase-free sectioning (microtomy), or frozen section preparation (cryotomy) are also available on request. In addition we offer digital slide scanning and image analysis, resulting in quantitative ISH data.
We routinely cut unmounted sections from FFPE blocks.
As a general estimate we charge $1.50 per section (scroll) in a microcentrifuge tube.

We offer an automated TUNEL assay for the detection of apoptotic cells in tissue sections. This assay can be performed on FFPE or frozen tissue sections from a range of species. Tissue preparation including wax processing, embedding and sectioning (microtomy), or frozen section preparation (cryotomy) are also available on request. In addition we offer digital slide scanning and TUNEL quantification.
